Alive Academy of Natural Health
Features of the Online Learning Centre (OLC)
The Online Learning Centre allows for rich interaction between you and other students. You can collaborate with other students: read, respond and post messages via email or online forums. One of the best features of an online discussion is that you don't have to be present at exactly the same time to communicate with other students. Online learning gives you an opportunity to share your discoveries with others, and learn from them. Your classmates come with a wealth of knowledge from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise. Use the discussion topic to post a question for all to see or send a private email to a specific individual. Either way, communication is key! Sharing personal profiles also makes the class more enjoyable and enables you to feel more connected while learning at a distance. Also use the OLC to network and socialize with other students. From time to time, the alive Academy of Natural Health will also post important announcements and/or bulletins for the students to view. In addition to immediate test results, additional information about policies, final exams, grades and more are just mouse click away.

Getting Started With the OLC
To access the OLC you must have an enrollment key which is provided to you at the time of registration. With this enrollment key, you can access any lesson notes that accompany your course materials and lesson tests/assignments. An additional enrollment key will be provided to your final exam supervisor to write final exams. All lesson tests and final exams have specified time limits. You must click the "Submit" button found at the bottom of each test within the specified time limit for successful submission. It is strongly recommended that students print off lesson tests from the OLC and record their answers on paper prior to writing and submitting tests online in the event of technical difficulties. You can view and print the lesson test prior to submitting a test. Simply log in to view and/or print the test. When completed, log out without pressing the "Submit Test" button. When you are ready to write the lesson test, input you pre-recorded answers and click the "Submit Test" button before the specified maximum time limit. After the test or exam has been submitted, your answers will be shown on screen and emailed to you.
