Environmental Science - Chapter 2 page 30 - DNA
Uracil is only found in RNA and thymine in DNA. This is because cytosine is unstable over time and looses ammonia to become uracil. The presence of uracil in DNA is looked for and immediately removed and replaced. If DNA used uracil, then this wouldn't possible. As RNA evolved first, use of thymine to replace uracil was necessary before DNA could be used to store information.

Only one original receipt can be issued after you login and download the file. All subsequent downloads are marked as duplicate copies.
